Food Safety

The primary responsibility of Establiments Andreu S.L. is to ensure the safety of all its products so that they reach their customers in perfect conditions of safety, preserving their organoleptic and nutritional values intact, thus meeting the highest standards of quality and trust that support our brand.

Food safety is the result of various factors, including the application of self-control programs and other prevention systems contemplated in the Codex Alimentarius, created in 1963 by FAO and WHO to develop and unify the regulations governing international food trade, whose influence extends to all continents and whose contribution to consumer health is invaluable.

Establiments Andreu holds the Health Register, which, according to the criteria established by the Public Health Agency, regulates each of the activities of handling, production, and distribution of our products. We are committed to the strict compliance with all current national and international regulations on hygiene, food safety, and nutrition.

All our centres have implemented quality procedures based on the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) System, periodically verified by external audits carried out by specialised companies, which provide us with an indispensable impetus for continuous improvement and are fundamental to ensuring food safety and the quality of our products.

We also have a clean room where we handle the products, slice them and vacuum pack them in optimal conditions so that contamination is almost non-existent.
